The Postlethwaits

So…lights & sirens you might ask. Well, we subscribe to the weekly Journal from our hometown in southeastern Ohio. Each week there is a section in the newspaper, titled ‘Lights & Sirens’, which basically lists every call the Sheriff’s department receives on a weekly basis (approximately 30 calls). Most of the calls are legitimate and could be serious; however, some of the calls are not as serious.

Thursday - May 14
7:30 AM: report of four cows in the road on Route 821 near Brick Road. Deputy advised.
8:08 AM: report of intoxicated subject walking on the village square. Deputy advised.
9:37 AM: Caldwell Post Office reports intoxicated subject stole stamps.  Deputy advised.
Sunday - May 17
10:00 AM: caller reports strange man is trying [...]

Thursday - May 7
1:54 AM: caller wanted to know what county they were in.
5:55 AM: caller reported hitting a donkey and the donkey went back in the barn.
6:05 AM: caller said a deer hit him on Route 821.
4:15 PM: report of a raccoon under a box at Spruce Street Apartments. Caldwell Police Department advised.

5:56 PM: caller reported there are sticks with numbers on them around Seneca Lake.
Friday - April 3
2:08 PM: caller reports someone keeps calling his house saying things to him.
